CLP will grant family and medical leave of absence (FMLA) in accordance with the requirements of applicable state and federal law in effect at the time the leave is granted. No greater or lesser leave benefits will be granted than those set forth in the relevant state or federal laws. In certain situations, federal law requires that provisions of state law apply. In any case, employees will be eligible for the most generous benefits available under either law. As soon as you become aware of the need for a family medical leave, please contact your CLP office and/or CLP’s Human Resources Department at 800-216-4934.
