FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT (FMLA)

CLP will grant family and medical leave of absence (FMLA) in accordance with the requirements of applicable state and federal law in effect at the time the leave is granted. No greater or lesser leave benefits will be granted than those set forth in the relevant state or federal laws. In certain situations, federal law requires that provisions of state law apply. In any case, employees will be eligible for the most generous benefits available under either law. As soon as you become aware of the need for a family medical leave, please contact your CLP office and/or CLP’s Human Resources Department at 800-216-4934.

EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER

CLP is committed to providing equal employment opportunity in all of our employment programs and decisions. Discrimination in employment on the basis of any classification protected under federal, state or local law is a violation of our policy and is illegal. Equal employment opportunity is provided to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, covered-veteran status or any other prohibited factor. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to, recruitment and hiring, placement, promotion, termination, reductions in force, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation and training. Any applicant or employee who needs a reasonable accommodation to apply for employment or to perform the essential functions of his or her job should contact their office or the Human Resources Department at 800-216-4934.

AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT COMPLIANCE

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requires employers to reasonably accommodate qualified individuals with disabilities. It is our policy to comply with all federal and state laws concerning the employment of persons with disabilities.

CLP has the E-Verify program in place and is committed to employing only U.S. citizens and resident aliens who are authorized to work in the United States and whose status complies with the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.
