Jacksonville, FL (July 7, 2010) – As part of its commitment to merit-shop contractors and the continuing education of its members, CLP Resources, Inc., has donated $1,000 to the Florida First Coast Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors.
CLP, the nation’s leading provider of reliable skilled tradespeople to building contractors, offered the donation to the Florida First Coast chapter when its Jacksonville Account Manager TJ Sawyer won first place in a recent sales contest. The contest prize of $1,000 was presented by Sawyer to Rusty White, chairman of the board for ABC Jacksonville and director of business development for Dana B Kenyon, in a special ceremony at the ABC offices last week. Sawyer was joined by CLP’s Jacksonville Market Manager Jennifer Peterson.
“When CLP announced this sales contest and I learned the prize was a donation to the winner’s ABC chapter, I knew I wanted to win,” Sawyer said. “My team and I are active ABC members and place great value in the relationships we’ve built with them. This donation is a great way to continue our investment, and help with the chapter’s construction education efforts.”
