  1. It's just a temp job. When you think about it, isn't all construction "temporary"? Jobs end when projects are completed so chances are, you're looking for work pretty regularly. When you work for CLP, we find work for you and keep you busy, project to project.
  2. Only "desperate" tradespeople work for CLP; the good ones work for contractors. CLP hires only those tradespeople who can complete our rigorous hiring process.   3. I'll make more money working directly for a contractor. CLP offers a competitive pay scale with some of the top contractors in the area and the opportunity to work on Prevailing Wage jobs. We're at work every day to make sure you have work every day. When the project is completed, you still have a job with CLP.
  4. CLP doesn't offer benefits - I need a health plan. On the contrary - we offer a benefits program that includes a group health plan with medical, hospital, vision, dental, short-term disability and life insurance. We also offer personal time off and team safety incentives.
